SINGAPORE (Nov 6): Credit Suisse is maintaining its "neutral" recommendations for both Jardine Matheson and Jardine Strategic with lower target prices of US$61 and US$35 respectively due to lower earnings forecasts for Astra International and the other business subsidiaries.

In a Nov 6 report, analysts Gerald Wong and Shih Haur Hwang said while underlying interim earnings for Jardine Matheson and Jardine Strategic from July 1 to Nov 4 remained in line with the same period in 2013, performance was mixed across its other businesses.
